I had hoped to add a new post showing another layer on my Still Life of Kwan Yin, but, unfortunately, I can't get the picture to upload from the image hosting site. I'll try again tomorrow. I stopped painting during the terrible heat wave we had recently. The odor of the mediums I'm using was just too strong for both Blitz (dog) and me when I had the house closed up. No a/c in this house so we had to keep cool as best we could and it was quite a struggle. Weather changed at last and it is so nice to have covers on the bed again. I even had to put on a sweater yesterday for a while.

I'm trying the pic uploading feature again but it just hangs up and does nothing. I'll try again tomorrow.
